Closing Ceremony for the One month long First Rural Palliative Care Training Program conducted by Patan Academy of Health Sciences( PAHS) and Hospice Nepal was held at PAHS. Vice –Chancellor of PAHS , Prof Bharat K Yadav distributed certificates to the seven participants from Village Municipalities of Bhimphedi, Indrasarovar and Raksirang Village Municipalities and Thaha Nagarpalika and Dakshinkali Nagarpalikas. On their return to their respective places, these health professional will start community based palliative care. This is the first time such a training has been conducted in the country.
